Hall of Fame Entry: Jest'liana

Jest'liana Warren is another character that's been around since pretty much the beginning of OtherSpace. She was among the people taken hostage by the Hivers for their war against the B'hiri. She helped save the life of Kip Caspar, who would grow up, years later, to nearly rip reality itself apart. Now she's among the refugees dwelling on Comorro Station after fleeing the catastrophe in normalspace.

How's that for having an impact on the game world?

The player has, from my experiences in the past, always been about the story - no matter the consequences for her character. And she's not just about the story that plays out in front of other players. One of my favorite memories of Jest dates back to 1998 aboard the Harrower. I didn't mean to spy, honest! I had a puppet object in an archive chamber so I could run emits for players. She happened to be in there, on her own, and actually performed a sort of ballet in pose form. It wasn't about showing off or getting attention, it was about immersing herself in the character.

It's an honor and a privilege to count her among OtherSpace's top veteran players.
